Ingredients
  Shortening 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), softened
  Granulated sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Packed brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Orange peel 2 Teaspoon, grated
  Orange juice 1 Tablespoon
  Egg 1
  All purpose flour 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Soda 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

Heat oven to 375°.
Cream shortening, butter and sugars.
Blend in remaining ingredients.
Fill cookie press with 1/4 of dough at a time; form desired shapes on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until light brown on edges.
