Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Shortening 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Eggs 3
  Commercial sour cream 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Flour 3 1⁄4 Cup (52 tbs) (Gold Medal)
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Chopped candied cherries 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cut up citron 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Shredded coconut 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Grated orange rind 1 Teaspoon
  Lemon extract/Almond extract 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Heat oven to 400°
Mix butter, shortening, sugar, and eggs thoroughly.
Stir in sour cream.
Measure flour by dipping method or by sifting.
Stir dry ingredients together; blend into shortening mixture.
Stir in rest of ingredients.
Drop dough by rounded teaspoonf uls about 2" apart on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake 10 to 12 min., or until lightly browned.
