|Firmly packed brown sugar||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Softened butter||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Baking soda||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Toasted chopped pecans||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Preheat oven in Convection Bake to 375°F (*350°F).
Combine brown sugar and butter. Beat until well blended. Add vanilla and eggs. Blend well. Add flour, baking soda and pecans. Mix well.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Place 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
Flatten to 1/8-inch thickness with bottom of glass dipped in 3 tablespoons sugar.
Convection Bake for 6 to 10 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool 1 minute. Remove from cookie sheets. Cool 2 minutes or until completely cooled.
