Chili Sauce With Tamarind
|Dried shrimp powder||1 Tablespoon|
|Dried red chilies||4 Small, seeded and minced|
|Garlic cloves||4 Medium, minced|
|Shrimp paste/1 teaspoon anchovy paste||1 Teaspoon (Kapee)|
|Fish sauce||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Nam Pla)|
|Palm sugar/Dark brown sugar||4 1⁄2 Teaspoon (1 Tablespoon Plus 1 1/2 Teaspoons)|
|Tamarind pulp concentrate||1 Tablespoon, dissolved|
|Hot water||3 Tablespoon|
Blend shrimp powder, chilies and garlic in small bowl.
Mix in shrimp paste.
Add fish sauce, sugar and tamarind and stir until sugar is dissolved.
