Thimbleberry And Currant Ice

  Sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Fresh currant 1 Quart
  Thimbleberries 1 Quart
  Water 1 Quart

Mash together currants and thimbleberries.
Strain juice through cheese cloth and measure 2 cups juice.
Stir in sugar and water.
Heat to just boiling.
Freeze in freezer tray.
