Place the bulgur in a colander and rinse under cold running water.
Drain the bulgur and transfer it to a container with a tight fitting cover.
Add the water, apricot nectar, fruit bits, oat bran and honey; stir until well combined.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
For each serving, place 3/4 cup of the mixture in a small saucepan.
Bring to a boil, stirring once or twice.
Then transfer the mixture to a cereal bowl and add 1/4 cup milk or, to heat in a microwave oven, place 3/4 cup of the mixture in a microwave-proof cereal bowl.
Cook on high (100% power) for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes or until the cereal is heated through, stirring occasionally.
Add 1/4 cup skim milk.
