Pecan Crisps

Ingredients
  Diet margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Brown sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), firmly packed
  Vanilla extract 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  All purpose flour 1 Cup (16 tbs), sifted
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Egg white 1 , slightly beaten
  Finely chopped pecans 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

1. Preheat oven to 375° F.
2. Using electric mixer at high speed, beat together diet margarine and brown sugar in medium bowl until creamy; beat in vanilla extract. With mixer at low speed, stir in sifted flour and salt; blend thoroughly.
3. Roll dough into 1-inch balls. Dip each ball into slightly beaten egg white, then roll in chopped pecans to coat. Place balls 1 inch apart on cookie sheet with nonstick finish. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove cookies to wire rack to cool.
