Fresh Kumquat Ice

Fresh Kumquat Ice is an amazingly delicious easy to prepare dessert recipe which cannot just escape your guest's attention. Try this Fresh Kumquat Ice; I am sure your loved ones will give you a lot of compliments for this!
  Fresh kumquats 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Sugar 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Water 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Fresh orange juice 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Fresh lemon juice 6 Tablespoon

Wash kumquats in hot water.
Halve and remove seeds.
Puree in processor or blender in batches using on/off turns until smooth.
Turn into heavy large saucepan.
Add sugar and bring to boil.
Reduce heat to low and simmer 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
Blend in water and juices.
Cool completely.
Chill several hours or overnight.
Strain kumquat mixture into ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.
Transfer to airtight container and freeze 3 to 4 hours.
(If ice cream maker is not available, freeze mixture in shallow trays.
Before serving, spoon into processor or blender in batches and mix using on/off turns until smooth.
Return to freezer just until firm.) Spoon ice into individual serving dishes.
Pour orange liqueur or vodka over each serving, if desired.
