Dried Fruit Medley
|Dried apples||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Dried apricots||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Dried peaches||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Dried pears||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Equal sweetener||3 (3 Envelope, Equal)|
Combine all dried fruits in a saucepan.
Cover with water; cover pan and simmer until fruits are almost tender.
Add the lemon juice.
Continue cooking until fruits are tender, adding extra water, if needed.
Cool to room temperature.
Stir in the sweetener.
This will stay fresh in a tightly covered refrigerator bowl for your morning breakfast for at least 2 weeks.
