Broiled Fruit On Skewers
|Pineapple||1 , peeled, cored and cut into 1 inch wedges|
|Bananas||4 , cut into 1/2 inch slices|
|Oranges||4 , peeled, sectioned and seeded|
|Superfine sugar/Granulated sugar||1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)|
|Orange liqueur||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
Thread fruit evenly onto twelve 10-inch bamboo or wooden skewers, alternating pineapple, banana and orange pieces.
Line broiler pan with aluminum foil.
Arrange skewered fruit in prepared pan.
Mix sugar and cinnamon.
Sprinkle over fruit.
Broil as close to heat source as possible until browned, about 3 to 5 minutes, turning occasionally.
Sprinkle each with 1 tablespoon liqueur.
