Glngered Apple Rings
|Brown sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), packed|
|Ginger||1⁄2 Teaspoon, ground|
|Golden delicious apples||4 Medium, cut into 1/2-inch rings (cored)|
1. Grate 1 tablespoon peel and squeeze 2 tablespoons juice from lemon.
2. In 12-inch skillet over medium heat, heat lemon peel, lemon juice, butter or margarine,brown sugar, water, and ginger until sugar dissolves. Add apples; cook about 10 minutes or until tender, turning apples occasionally.
