Chilled Upside Down Crepes
|Fresh strawberries||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), sliced|
|Sweet chocolate chips||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Grand marnier flavored syrup||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Strawberry ice cream||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), softened|
|Orange peel||2 Tablespoon|
In a bowl, mix strawberries and chocolate chips.
Lay a crepe into bottom of a cake pan slightly larger than crepes.
Coat with 1 tsp (5 mL) Grand Marnier syrup.
Spread with 2 tbsp (30 mL) ice cream.
Sprinkle 1 tbsp (15 mL) strawberry and chocolate chip mixture on top.
Cover with a crepe.
Repeat until ingredients have been used.
Freeze 2-3 hours.
Remove from freezer.
Unmold onto a serving dish (if needed, dip bottom of pan 30 seconds in hot water).
Sprinkle with orange peel.
Cut into triangular wedges.
