  All purpose flour 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Baking soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Butter 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), softened
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Eggs 2
  Milk 3 Tablespoon
  Nuts 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
  Dates 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
  Cherries 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), candied

Preheat oven to 375 °F (190 °C).
Butter a cookie sheet.
Set aside.
In a bowl, sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Set aside.
In a second bowl, mix buttei, sugar, eggs and milk.
Fold in sifted ingredients.
Mix in nuts, dates and cherries.
Shape dough into 1 inch (2.5 cm) balls.
Place on a cookie sheet.
Bake in oven 12 minutes.
Remove from oven.
Let cool.
