|Dry white wine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Dijon style mustard||2 Tablespoon|
|Ground red pepper||1 Pinch|
|Whole chicken breasts||2 , skinned, boned and cut into halves|
|Black pepper||1 Teaspoon|
|All purpose flour||1 Tablespoon|
|Vegetable oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Finely chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|California bartlett pears||2 , cored and cut into eights (Fresh)|
lb Microwave: Preheat microwave browning dish in microwave on HIGH (100% power) 7 minutes or according to manufacturer's directions.
Meanwhile, combine wine, mustard and red pepper; set aside.
Season chicken with black pepper.
Lightly coat chicken with flour; set aside.
Drizzle oil over preheated dish; add chicken, smooth sides down.
Sprinkle onion around chicken and microwave on HIGH 4 minutes.
Turn chicken and pour wine mixture over chicken and onion.
Cover and microwave on MEDIUM-HIGH (70% power) 6 minutes.
Add pears; cover and microwave on HIGH about 1 1/2 minutes or until chicken and pears are tender.
