Fruit Vegetable Toss
|Torn lettuce||12 Cup (192 tbs)|
|Sharp natural cheddar cheese||8 Ounce, cut into thin strips|
|Sliced celery||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Salad oil||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Wine vinegar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Grated onion||1 Tablespoon|
|Dry mustard||1 Teaspoon|
|Pared oranges||4 Medium, cut in bite sized pieces|
|Nectarines||2 Medium, peeled and sliced|
Combine lettuce, cheese, and celery in large salad bowl.
To prepare dressing, beat together oil, vinegar, sugar, onion, dry mustard, and salt.
Pour enough dressing over lettuce to coat lightly; toss.
Top with orange pieces and nectarine slices.
Pass remaining dressing.
