Dessert - Plum Crisp

Looking for the perfect crisp recipe?? Look no further! This is the easiest dessert you can make and the good news is you can change out the plums for any fruit you want. Plums are in season and they looked delicious at the store so that is what I used. You can use any kind of stone fruit, apple, berry, you name it.

Ingredients

Sliced plums 4 Cup (64 tbs)
Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Corn starch 2 Tablespoon
Zest of lemon 1
Juice of lemon 1
For topping
Uncooked oats 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Light brown sugar 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Flour 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
Cold butter 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , diced
For greasing pan
Butter 1/2 Tablespoon (For greasing)

Directions

GETTING READY

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a pie pan with butter and set aside.

MAKING

In a bowl, add in the plums, sugar, corn starch, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Mix it until all the plums are coated.

Place the plums to the prepared pie dish.

In another bowl,

Add in the cold butter and mix together with fingers until the butter is combined.

Top the plum mixture with oat mixture and bake in oven for 60 minutes.

SERVING

Serve with vanilla ice cream.
