The orange butter frosting is a dessert frosting that can be used as desired. Prepared especially for cakes, the orange butter frosting is prepared with heavy cream, orange rind, melted butter and sugar. Creamed together, it can be used right away.
1⁄2 , grated rind and juice strained
Sifted confectioners sugar
4 Cup (64 tbs)
Combine first 4 ingredients.
Gradually add sugar.
Beat until creamy.
Spread on cake.
Decorate with bits of dates if desired.
