This seven minute frosting is a simple and easy to prepare frosting that can be used for any cake. Made with sugar, water, corn syrup and egg whites, the seven minute frosting comes together almost effortlessly and is flavored with vanilla.
1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Light corn syrup
Combine sugar, water, corn syrup, salt, and egg whites in the top of a double boiler.
Set over boiling water and beat at high speed 7 to 10 minutes, or until stiff peaks form when beater is lifted.
Remove from heat.
Beat in vanilla extract.
