Chocolate Fudge Frosting With Milk
|Unsweetened chocolate squares||2 Ounce|
|Sugar||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Light corn syrup||3 Tablespoon|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (or margarine)|
Combine chocolate, sugar, syrup, salt, and milk in a 3 quart saucepan.
Cook over low heat, stirring until sugar dissolves and chocolate melts.
Cook to soft ball stage (234Â°).
Remove from heat; add butter and cool till just warm (110Â°).
Add vanilla and beat till mixture is of spreading consistency.
Frosts tops and sides of two 9 inch layers.
