In this video, Betty demonstrates how to make Silky Smooth Chocolate Frosting. This frosting was created to accompany the previously uploaded Chocolate Chunk Cupcakes, but it can be used to frost cupcakes, cakes, cookies, doughnuts, etc.
8 Ounce (1/2 box)
Unsweetened cocoa powder
1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (or less as desired)
1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (1/2 stick)
1. In a large bowl add the powdered sugar, cocoa powder and whisk till combined. Add the butter and little milk. Using an electric beater mix till combined.
2. Add the remaining milk and continue to beat till silky smooth. Put the vanilla and continue to beat till incorporated.
3. Frost the cupcakes either with a spatula or by swirling it in the frosting.
To use this recipe to frost a cake, double the recipe.
