2 1⁄2 Tablespoon (or substitute with 5 tablespoons of flour)
1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (or use butter if you prefer)
1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), softened
1 Cup (16 tbs)
1. In a small saucepan, combine milk and cornstarch. Mix well. Place the pan on low heat, stir constantly and cook until thickened. Set aside for 30 minutes to cool.
2. In a large mixing bowl, add shortening, butter, sugar, and vanilla. Beat until fluffy.
3. Drop cooled milk and flour mixture into the bowl. Beat well.
4. Decorate cake with frosting and serve immediately.
