|Shortening||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Icing sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs), sifted|
|Vanilla extract||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Cream shortening, and gradually add 1 cup sugar, continuing to cream and beat after each addition.
Add vanilla and salt.
Add remaining sugar, alternately with just enough water to form a thick smooth mixture suitable to force through a cake-decorating bag.
Makes 3/4 cup.
