|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Maple sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Half and half||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Walnuts||1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped|
Dissolve sugar and maple sugar in cream over low heat; bring to a boil.
Boil until mixture forms soft ball in cold water.
Remove from heat; beat until cool.
Add walnuts; spread on cake.
Yield: Frosting for two layers or medium square cake.
