Rich Vanilla Frosting
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Room Temperature)|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1 Tablespoon|
In a small saucepan, combine milk and flour.
Beat with a wire whisk or rotary beater until smooth.
Cook over low heat until thick; cool.
In a medium mixing bowl, cream butter or margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beating with electric mixer on high speed, gradually add milk-flour mixture.
Beat until smooth.
Stir in vanilla.
