Rich Chocolate Frosting
|Sifted confectioners' sugar||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Unsweetened chocolate square||3 Ounce, melted|
|Hot water||2 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Vanilla extract||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Soft butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Add 3/4 cup sugar to chocolate.
Mix well; add salt, water, and remaining 3/4 cup sugar.
Beat in egg yolks gradually.
Add vanilla and butter and beat until well blended.
Spread on remaining top and two sides of half the cake.
