Milk Chocolate Frosting
|Unsweetened chocolate||1 Ounce|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs) (At Room Temperature)|
|Sifted powdered sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Light cream||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Melt chocolate; set aside to cool.
In a medium mixing bowl, cream butter or margarine.
Gradually blend in 2 cups powdered sugar.
Mix in egg yolk, melted chocolate and vanilla.
Gradually beat in 2 more cups powdered sugar.
Add enough cream to bring to spreading consistency.
Fills and frosts one 2-layer, 8- or 9-inch cake.
