Grandma's Chocolate Frosting

Ingredients
  Unsweetened cocoa powder 2 Tablespoon
  Granulated sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Dash
  Hot water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Butter 1 Teaspoon
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
Directions

In 4 cup (1 L) microproof measure stir together cocoa, sugar, cornstarch and salt.
Stir in water and cook on HIGH for 2 minutes or until mixture boils and is thickened.
Stir in butter and vanilla.
Let stand until cool, stirring occasionally, before using to ice cake.
