Yummy Fudge Frosting

Ingredients
  Unsweetened chocolate square 3
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Light cream 6 Tablespoon
  Sifted confectionery sugar 2 3⁄4 Cup (44 tbs)
  Vanilla extract 2 Teaspoon
Directions

In double boiler melt and blend chocolate and butter.
Add 1 3/4 cups confectioners sugar, salt and cream all at one time, and beat thoroughly until smooth.
Cook over a low fire until mixture bubbles around the edges.
Remove from heat.
Add the remaining sugar in three parts, stirring well after each part is added add vanilla.
Allow it to cool until it is thick enough to spread.
This will frost and fill two 8 layers.
This yummy frosting is extremely popular with the younger set and is, comparatively speaking, simple to make.
