|Maple sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Light cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Butternut meats||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
Boil together maple sugar, salt, and cream until a little of the mixture dropped into cold water forms a soft ball (approximately 238°F.
on a candy thermometer).
Add nuts and beat until cooled and creamy.
Spread immediately since frosting gets hard very quickly.
