Pink Brick Frosting

Ingredients
  Egg white 2
  Sugar 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Cold water 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Light corn syrup 2 Teaspoon
  Vanilla 2 Teaspoon
  Red food coloring 2 Drop
Directions

Combine all ingredients in double boiler over 1-inch simmering water.
Beat with electric mixer 7-8 minutes until frosting forms peaks.
Spread frosting on Ghirardelli Square Cake.
Sprinkle with crushed peppermint sticks, if desired.
