Caramel Frosting

Ingredients
  Firmly packed brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Evaporated skim milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 2 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Corn syrup 2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Dash
  Powdered sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Vanilla extract 2 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Evaporated skim milk 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Combine first 5 ingredients in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
Reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes or until thick and golden brown.
Remove from heat.
Add powdered sugar and vanilla; beat at medium speed of a mixer until smooth and slightly warm.
Add 1 1/2 teaspoons milk, 1/2 teaspoon at a time, for a more spreadable consistency, if needed.
