Decorator S Frosting

  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (1 Stick)
  Vegetable shortening 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  10x confectioners' powdered sugar 2 Pound, sifted (2 Packages, 1 Pound Each)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Milk 3 Tablespoon
  Apricot brandy 2 Tablespoon
  Light corn syrup 2 Tablespoon
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Red food coloring 3 Drop (Adjust Quantity As Needed)
  Green food coloring 3 Drop

1. Beat butter or margarine and shortening until soft in large bowl of electric mixer at high speed. Beat in 10X sugar and salt until mixture is crumbly and all sugar has been added.
2. Add milk, brandy, corn syrup and vanilla to bowl. Beat until mixture is very thick and smooth. (Cover bowl with dampened paper towel; cover with plastic wrap to keep frosting from hardening.)
