Seven Minute Frosting
|Sugar||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Light corn syrup||1 Tablespoon|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Egg whites||2 (at room temperature)|
1. In top of double boiler, with mixer at high speed, beat all ingredients until blended, about 1 minute. Place top over rapidly boiling water; beat at high speed until soft peaks form (this may take more than 7 minutes).
2. Pour mixture into large bowl; beat at high speed until thick enough to spread.
