Easy Penuche Icing
|Butter||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs), packed|
|Confectioners sugar||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (sifted)|
Melt butter in saucepan.
Stir in brown sugar.
Boil and stir over low heat 2 min.
Stir in milk.
Bring to boil, stirring constantly.
Cool to lukewarm (120°).
Gradually stir in confectioners' sugar.
Place pan in ice water and stir until thick enough to spread.
For 9" square cake.
