Browned Butter Frosting

Ingredients
  Butter 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Powdered sugar 5 1⁄2 Cup (88 tbs), sifted
  Vanilla 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Dash
  Light cream/Half-and-half 9 Tablespoon
Directions

Heat butter in heavy 1-quart saucepan over medium heat until butter is melted and light amber in color, stirring frequently.
Cool butter slightly.
Combine browned butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, salt and 8 tablespoons cream in large bowl.
Beat with electric mixer at medium speed until smooth and of spreading consistency.
Stir in additional 1 tablespoon cream if frosting is too stiff.
