Coconut Pecan Frosting

I have a wonderful recipe for coconut pecan frosting. This coconut pecan recipe is perfect for icing an type of cake. Definitely coconut, this one of my favorites!
Ingredients
  Evaporated milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (plus 2 tablespoon)
  Egg yolks 4
  Flaked coconut 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Pecans 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), chopped
  Vanilla extract 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Combine first 4 ingredients in a heavy saucepan; bring to a boil and cook over medium heat 12 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add coconut, pecans, and vanilla; stir until cool and thick enough to spread.
Apply this frosting either cake or cupcake
