Quick Fudge Frosting
|Firmly packed brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Milk||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Powdered sugar||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), sifted|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
Combine first 6 ingredients in a medium saucepan.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil.
Boil 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat; cool.
Add powdered sugar and vanilla; beat at medium speed of an electric mixer until smooth and thick enough to spread, adding a small amount of milk, if necessary.
Spread immediately on cooled cupcakes.
