|Brown sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Flaked coconut||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Chopped nuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Vegetable shortening||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
In saucepan, combine all ingredients.Cook and stir until sugar and vegetable shortening are melted.
Spread on partially cooled cake; bake at 400° for 6 minutes or until lightly browned.
