Basic Corn Fritters

Ingredients
  Corn ears 6 , corn cut off cob to make 3 cups
  Black pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Egg 1 , slightly beaten
  Flour 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Shredded mild cheddar cheese 2 Tablespoon
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Mix corn from cob with flour, sugar, salt, and black pepper.
Blend in egg and cheese; drop by teaspoonfuls in deep fat at 365°.
Cook until golden brown; drain on absorbent towels.
Serve for breakfast, lunch, or dinner
