|Orange rum sauce||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Sift flour, baking powder, and salt.
Combine beaten egg and milk; add to dry ingredients along with orange peel and juice; mix until smooth.
Peel and slice bananas; stir into batter.
Drop by spoonfuls into heated fat and fry until golden.
Drain on absorbent paper.
Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
Serve with the sauce.
