Zucchini Fritters Fried In Crisco
|Flour||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), sifted|
|Baking powder||2 Teaspoon|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Zucchini||1 Cup (16 tbs), finely chopped|
|Crisco||2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Deep Frying)|
1 In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
2 In another bowl, mix milk, egg, and zucchini.
3 Stir in to the dry ingredients and mix just until moistened.
4 In a pan heat deep Crisco to 375° and drop the mixture with a tablespoon in it.
5 Fry, a few at a time, until golden about 3 to 4 minutes.
6 Drain well on paper toweling.
7 Excellent with Cheese Sauce
