Batter Fritters

Ingredients
  Sour milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Flour 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Melted butter 2 Tablespoon
  Egg 1 , well beaten
  Baking soda 1 Teaspoon
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Fruit 2 (Choice)
Directions

Mix ingredients into bowl with enough flour to make a thick batter.
Add fruit of choice or leave plain.
Drop by spoon; fry in deep hot oil (360 degrees) until golden brown on both sides.
Drain on paper towels.
Sugar while still warm.
