|Sifted flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Fat||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (For deep frying)|
1. Remove soft part from clams, mince hard parts and combine.
2. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
3. Combine egg and clams and add to flour with enough milk to make a thick batter.
4. Drop by teaspoons into hot deep fat (360°F.) or saute until brown.
