Grilled Ham with Corn Fritters
|Self raising flour||4 Ounce|
|Canned sweet corn||5 Ounce, drained (1 Small Can)|
|Fat||2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Deep Frying)|
|Parsley||1 Tablespoon (For Garnish)|
Snip the edges of the gammon, brush the lean with melted butter and place under the grill and cook steadily until the fat is golden brown and the meat tender.
Meanwhile sieve the flour with the salt, add the egg, milk and sweet corn.
Fry spoonsful of this in hot fat until crisp and golden brown on both sides.
Drain on crumpled tissue paper and keep hot.
Core but do not peel the apples, slice and fry in the hot fat until tender.
Serve the gammon with the corn fritters and apples rings.
Garnish with parsley.
