Two Bean Fritters

Ingredients
  Green beans 1 Cup (16 tbs), cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  Wax beans 1 Cup (16 tbs), cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  All purpose flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 Tablespoon
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Fat 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Deep Frying)
Directions

Cook green and wax beans as directed
Drain well.
Stir together flour, baking powder, and 3/4 teaspoon salt.
Combine egg, milk, and cooked beans.
Add to dry ingredients, mixing just till moistened.
Drop batter by tablespoon-fuls into deep hot fat (375°).
Fry, several at a time, till golden brown, 3 to 4 minutes.
Drain on paper toweling
