Ingredients
  Self-rising flour 250 Milliliter (1 Cup)
  Strong cheddar cheese 250 Milliliter, grated (1 Cup)
  Onion 1 , grated
  Onion 1
  Potatoes 4 Medium, peeled and grated
  Eggs 2 , beaten
  Nutmeg 1 Teaspoon (5 Milliliter)
  Evaporated milk 125 Milliliter (1/2 Cup)
  Oil 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Deep Frying)
Directions

MAKING
1 In a bowl combine all the ingredients except for oil and chutney.
2 Beat well to make a thick batter.
3 Let stand for 5 minutes.
4 In a frying pan, heat oil.
5 Drop the batter in the pan, 1 tbsp (15 ml) at a time.
6 Cook both the sides until golden.
7 Drain well on paper towels.

SERVING
8 Serve at once with a sauce or dip of your choice.
