Crunchy Corn Fritters
|Whole kernel corn||8 3⁄4 Ounce|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Tablespoon|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Cooking oil||400 Milliliter|
Drain com, reserving liquid.
Add enough milk to reserved liquid to make 1 cup.
Stir together flour, baking powder, and salt.
Combine egg, corn, and reserved 1 cup liquid.
Stir into dry ingredients; mix just till moistened.
Heat 1 1/2 inches of oil to 375° in skillet that is at least 3 inches deep.
Drop batter by tablespoonfuls into hot oil.
Fry till golden brown, 1 1/2 to 2 minutes per side; turn once.
