Easy Oven Fries

Here is a very easy and tasty recipe for Fries. The only difference is that these fries are not deep fried, they are baked in the oven. This way you can enjoy eating them without feeling guilty about the extra calories and fat content. Enjoy!
Ingredients
  Potatoes 3
  Olive oil 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Deep Frying)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
  Dried oregano 1 Teaspoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Heat up the oven to high heat.
2. Slice the potatoes thin slices.

MAKING
3. Mix all the above ingredients and mix well with the potatoes in a baking pan.
4. Bake in the hot oven for 30 - 40 minutes until the edges are browned and the top is golden.

SERVING
5. Serve as desired.

You know what, I had actually stopped munching of potato fries for the reason i used to fry it in oil, which is definitely a not so healthy option to try. But this oven fried potatoes seem to be a much healthy pick - mainly coz the potatoes are not deep fried. I think i shoudl just give it a try. :) Thanks fr the recipe Summer!

I'd get pimples on my face eating deep-fried potato wafers ! That's why I stopped munching them .Some people had suggested oven fries before, but they were not tasty. You know why ? Because they were dry bakes. with an olive oil coating they definitely look a tastier option. Also I could never get my deep fried potato wafers crispy. They would invariably turn soft on coming into contact with the oil. Oven baking ensures crunchiness as it evaporates all moisture from the wafers. Thanks for this very useful method of cooking potato fries.
