Sweet Potato Fries

Rebecca Brand shows how to make Sweet Potato Fries and Chips. She does a taste test with canola oil versus lard. Super crispy and great for a change away from potato chips. Try this Sweet Potato Fry recipe with yams too!
Ingredients
  Sweet potato 2 , peeled, half thinly sliced, half cut into fries thickness
  Salt To Taste
  Canola oil 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For deep frying)
  Lard 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (For deep frying)
Directions

MAKING:

  1. Heat canola oil and lard separately and deep fry sliced sweet potatoes until they turn crispy.
  2. Drain into kitchen towels.
  3. Sprinkle salt to taste.

SERVING:

  1. Serve and enjoy!
