Lobster Bisque

Lobster Bisque is a traditional creamy soup native to France which has a thick and highly seasoned characteristic. Lobster Bisque is prepared by cooking lobster meat along with flour and vegetables like onions, celery and leeks. Heavy cream is added to the soup to make it more flavorful and smooth in texture. Additional ingredients such as thyme and tarragon are also added to the Lobster Bisque depending upon individual taste. In certain recipes the lobster pieces are also roasted in an oven and slices of lobster meat are used as a garnish.
